AUDACITY OF HOPE
Free to wear low waist jeans and tight tops
free to colour hair red and nails black
Free to wear stilettos and high heels
Free to dress without the fear of judgement
Free to be me
That's the audacity of hope
Free to gossip about who's who
Free to bung on food
without the fear of gaining weight
Free to contretemps with enemies
without being contrite
Free to dance in the rains
without the fear of getting drenched
That's the audacity of hope
Free to ride the bike at the highest possible speed
without the helmet
Free to wear the same torn jeans
Free to sleep late and wake up late
Free to go around with other guys
without being caught
Free to be me
That's the audacity of hope.
